    Recently, the second "Luban Culture Festival" of Red Star Macalline was successfully held. 5000 wooden homes detonated a new round of "solid wood heat". During the event, the sales of wooden homes totaled more than 24,000, and the average customer price reached 24,100 yuan. The increase is as high as 60% or more. At the same time, with China's mid-to-high-end home retail brand Red Star Macalline and hundreds of well-known home brands released "2014 wooden home fashion trends", China's home furnishing industry was born the first wooden home fashion guide based on the "big data" platform.
    The research results show that there are four major trends in current wood household consumption:
    First, the solid wood home market has grown steadily. From the total sales of wooden households in the country, the solid wood home market increased by 8% in 2013 compared to 2013. Among them, building materials and furniture accounted for 53% and 47% respectively. Solid wood cabinets, solid wood wardrobes, solid wood flooring and other sub-categories are the top three; but from the perspective of growth, solid wood sliding doors are the biggest "black horse", and its sales growth rate is as high as 59.18%.
Second, neo-classical and modern furniture are popular, with sales accounting for 43%. The Chinese classical style mahogany furniture also performed well, the range of mahogany woods expanded, and the average price of mahogany furniture fell, which led to the expansion of potential consumers.
    The demand for third- and second-tier cities has exploded. The sales of urban merchants have increased by 29% year-on-year. It can be described as “blowout”, and “solid wood heat” is accelerating to the periphery with the first-tier cities as the core.
    Fourth, "private customization" is moving towards integration. “Private Customization” has become an important trend in the home furnishing industry and accelerates the development towards “integration”, which is from “single customization” to “holistic customization”, such as: cloakroom, ceiling, soft bag, wooden door, floor, cabinet, etc. The overall space is customized.
